Microsoft Cloud Workshop: Agile Continuous Delivery

Teaching methodology

The course includes educational laboratories in which each student will be able to work in order to complete training exercises that will provide practical experience in using the instrument, for each of the topics covered during the course.

Who should participate

This workshop is aimed at Cloud Architects and IT professionals who are experienced in architecture and design of solutions and infrastructures in cloud technologies and want to learn more about Azure and Azure services as described in the areas “About this course” and “Completing the course”. Participants in this seminar should also have experience in other non-Microsoft cloud technologies, meet the course prerequisites, and be willing to cross-train on Azure.

Prerequisites

The seminar content assumes 300-level architectural expertise in infrastructure and solution design.

Outgoing knowledge/skills

• Create an Azure Resource Manager (ARM) template for provisioning Azure resources
• Configurare CD con Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
• Configure Application Insights in an application
• Create a Visual Studio Team Services project and Git repository

Educational program

Set up and configure CD in Azure using a combination of Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) templates. Students will do this while using a new VSTS project, Git repository for source control, and an ARM template for Azure resource deployment and configuration management.
