Teaching Methodology

The course includes didactic workshops in which each student will be able to work for the purpose of completing formative exercises that will provide hands-on experience in the use of the instrument, for each of the topics covered during the course.

Individuals interested in becoming Azure Stack operators to deliver cloud services to end users and customers from within their data center using Azure Stack hubs.

Prerequisites

For valid results, it is recommended that students in the Azure Stack hub course have prior experience with operating systems, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage facilities and networking:

  • Knowledge of local virtualization technologies, including virtual machines and virtual networks
  • Knowledge of network configuration, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and encryption technologies
  • Information on Active Directory concepts, including domains, forests and domain controllers
