Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Administration (ECA) EN
If you already have experience administering a Nutanix environment, this course will extend, deepen and broaden your knowledge as you grow in your career as a Nutanix administrator.
Designed with Prism Central as the focal point, this course illustrates the breadth and depth of Nutanix central management capabilities, allowing you to explore the wide range of functionality available in this single web console.
Category: Nutanix
Teaching methodology
The course includes educational laboratories in which each student will be able to work to complete training exercises, providing practical experience in using the tools for each of the topics addressed.Â
ECA is divided into four thematic areas:
- Understanding the fundamental concepts of Nutanix, such as hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) and various Nutanix cloud solution packages. This includes basic cluster configuration and the necessary components to create and manage VMs, such as networks and images.
- Creating and managing VMs, protecting VMs and their data, applying storage optimization features at the VM level, and migrating workloads in a Nutanix environment.
- Learning to manage alerts, events, log collection, reporting, and using various features in Prism Central to identify, analyze, and resolve performance issues.
- Learning to configure a cluster for maintenance tasks, such as starting and stopping nodes and clusters, and managing and updating licenses and installed software with just a few clicks.
