Mirantis Container Cloud (MCC) (en)
In this quick introduction to Mirantis Container Cloud, students will learn how to deploy Kubernetes clusters on AWS using MCC, as well as how to manage MCC user permissions, Stacklight-based monitoring and logging tools, and third-party monitoring integrations. Students will leave the workshop with a proof-of-concept implementation of MCC started on their AWS account, to explore and study in the future.

Who should participate
This course is intended for students with the following characteristics:
Motivation: Deploy and configure Mirantis Container Cloud on AWS.
Roles: System operators and administrators
Prerequisites
- CN120 course and related prerequisites or equivalent experience
- Experience in AWS cluster administration
- Familiarity with the Bash shell
- Filesystem browsing and manipulation
- Command-line text editors such as vim or nano
- Common tools such as curl, wget and ping
- Familiarity with YAML and JSON notation
Lab requirements
- An AWS account with root access to all AWS features (important note: each student must have access to a separate AWS account – multiple users or IAM roles are not guaranteed to work in the same account).
- Laptop with WiFi connectivity
- Participants must have the latest version of Chrome or Firefox installed and a free account on strigo.io.
