This course is designed to introduce students to Transact-SQL. It is designed so that the first three days can be taught as a course to students who require knowledge of other courses in the SQL Server curriculum.

Teaching methodology

The course includes educational laboratories in which each student will be able to work in order to complete training exercises that will provide practical experience in using the instrument, for each of the topics covered during the course.

Who should participate

The main purpose of the course is to provide students with a good understanding of the Transact-SQL language used by all disciplines related to SQL Server; namely, Database Administration, Database Development and Business Intelligence. Therefore, the primary target audience for this course is: database administrators, database developers, and BI professionals.

Prerequisites


Working knowledge of relational databases.
Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system and its main features.
